The Spring-Ford girls soccer team had an impressive regular season, finishing with an overall record of 15-2 and a Pioneer Athletic Conference record of 12-1 to dominate the Liberty Division.
In the Final Four they eased past Perkiomen Valley with a 2-0 win, goals scored by Molly Kennedy off a corner kick and Abby Huxta off a freekick. For the second consecutive year, Owen J. Roberts and Spring-Ford faced each other in the PAC championship match. Once again, the game ended in a draw after 100 minutes of play, leaving it up to a penalty shootout to determine the victor.
Unfortunately in a repeat of the previous season, the Wildcats emerged as the champions, winning 5-4 in a penalty shootout after two halves and two overtime periods.
The Rams rebounded in the District One 6A playoffs, winning games against Wissahickon and Marple Newtown, before falling in the district quarterfinals.
