Chad Brubaker announced his decision to step down as Spring-Ford’s longtime head football coach Nov. 6, following the conclusion of his 15th season leading a very successful Rams program.
“After much reflection and discussion with my wife and family, I have made the difficult decision to step down at the head coach of the Spring-Ford football program,” Brubaker said in a statement released on X. “The decision was not made lightly, as my time here has been incredibly rewarding and filled with tremendous memories.”
Brubaker ends his tenure on the Spring-Ford sidelines with a very successful record and multiple trips to the District One playoffs.
“Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of witnessing our players grow, not only as athletes, but also as young men,” Brubaker wrote. “Together, we celebrated victories and stood up to challenges; we experienced jubilation and shed tears, and I wouldn’t trade any of those times with our players and staff. I am immensely proud of what we have built and accomplished as a program and the resilience we have shown in times of adversity.”
The Rams finished their season with a trip to the District One 6A playoffs, losing to top-seeded Central Bucks South.
