SF relay takes state silver

The Spring-Ford boys track team claimed it’s highest place on the medal stand in at least 50 years at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships over Memorial Day weekend. The Rams’ 4×400-meter relay team of Jack Stanick, Justin Johnson, Chris Brittingham, and Mason Scott finished second overall in the state to cap an incredible year.

Scott also ran on the team’s sixth-place 4×100 team that also consisted of Andre Jackson-Littlejohn, Travell Wellons, and Brittingham.

Individually, Scott finished 13th in the state in the 200 and 21st in the 100. On the girls side, Madison Johnson finished 13th in the 400 meter dash.

At the District One meet, Scott finished second in the 100 and fourth in the 200.The Rams’ 4×100 finished first and the 4×400 finished third. Johnson finished seventh in the 400.

The boys team captured the Pioneer Athletic Conference championship and the girls team finished fifth place in the conference championship

The PAC championship saw many people perform very well for Spring Ford: Scott, Elizabeth Nguyen, Mckenzie Thomas, Resse Sullivan, Mary Mcknelly, Jackson-Littlejohn, and Stanick were some of the massive performers at PACs.
