Spring-Ford bowling strikes success

Leonard rolls way to perfect game to highlight strong season for the bowling team.

In only the second year of the program the Spring-Ford Rams bowling team had yet another great season. This season the boys finished with a record of 29-6-1, the boys team was also Snow Roller Champions, and Blizzard Baker champions.

The boys had many memorable moments this season, but probably the most memorable moment of the season was Sam Leonard’s perfect game. A perfect game is when a bowler throws a strike in every frame to score a 300.

For the girls, they finished their season with a record of 22-14. The girls also qualified for the Blizzard Baker tournament. While the postseason didn’t go the way the girls wanted it to go, they still saw great performances from bowlers like Lauren Black and Jules Ryan. Ryan had a great season this year that saw her finish eighth in the regional qualifiers, becoming the first girl to qualify for regionals in Spring-Ford girls bowling history.
