The Spring-Ford wrestling team captured the District One Class AAA Duals Tournament championship for the first time in program history with a 38-23 victory over No. 1-seeded Quakertown in the final Saturday.

Joey Milano (195), Louis Carbajal (220), Cole Smith (106), Quinn Smith (113), Quinn Tobin (132), Zach Needles (138), Jack McGill (152), Xavier Cushman (160), and Jason Lepore (170) provided victories for the third-seeded Rams in the championship match according to the district website.

The victory is the latest step in what has been a tremendous season for the Rams, who captured the Pioneer Athletic Conference championship earlier in the week and pinned down big wins in various other tournaments this year.
